Barcelona kneels before Atletico Madrid, Simeone's team wins the first match
Barcelona lost the first leg of the quarter-finals against Atl.Madrid with a score of 0:2.
The Catalans were initially sent off in the 44th minute. Defender Pau Cubarsi was sent off after making a tackle as the last player, reports Periscope.
Immediately after this card, Atletico Madrid scored. Julian Alvarez scored a super goal from a free kick in the 45th minute.
In the second half, Barcelona managed to create chances, but did not score.
When everyone was expecting a goal from Barcelona, Atletico Madrid scored after a counterattack. Striker Alexander Sorloth scored in the 70th minute after an assist from Ruggeri.
