KFOR conducts difficult mountain marches in Kosovo, increases troop readiness
KFOR troops, deployed to the Regional Command West (RC-W), have conducted a series of difficult mountain marches in the rugged terrain of Kosovo, reaching the heights overlooking the "Camp Villaggio Italia" camp in Peja.
According to the announcement, these exercises aim to increase the interoperability and readiness of the units, ensuring that they are prepared to react at any moment when required. Through such activities, KFOR personnel maintain a high level of situational awareness in the field.
"KFOR continues to implement its mandate, which stems from Resolution 1244, with the aim of guaranteeing a safe environment for all citizens and freedom of movement throughout the territory. In fulfilling this mission, KFOR cooperates closely with the Kosovo Police and EULEX, according to their respective roles as security responders."
