Nearly 6 drivers fined for using their phones in Kosovo

During the first three months of the year, Kosovo Police issued 5,878 fines to drivers who used their phones while driving.

According to the law, violators are punished with a 200 euro fine, negative points, or a three-month driving ban.

Authorities warn that phone use remains one of the main causes of accidents and will continue controls to increase road safety.
