LDK MP has a request for the members of Parliament: We should share the 13th salary for children with autism

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Ermal Sadiku has made a public call for his colleagues in the Assembly to contribute financially to children with autism.

In a post, he criticized the fact that MPs have received the 13th salary, despite the fact that the Assembly, according to him, has not been active enough during this period.

Sadiku has proposed that each MP allocate between 500 and 1000 euros from this salary, emphasizing that in a country where citizens face economic difficulties, such an action would have great value.

His full post:

Dear MPs
As a new MP, I don't want to play the role of political protagonist but I also want to make a proposal.
Even though the assembly has not been as active as it should be during this period, from 2025 to today, MPs have received their 13th salary!
In a country where people struggle every day to survive, this makes no sense. A country that relies on the private sector, the same one doesn't get a 13th salary!
Therefore, I propose: each deputy of the republic be given between €500 and €1000 from this salary.
Tomorrow is the day of children with autism.
For us it is little, for them it is of great value.
Together we can make over €50,000
Because politics begins with humanity.
I haven't received the 13th month salary, but I will contribute the same amount.
