Presidency meeting held, agenda for next session set
The Presidency of the Assembly of Kosovo, starting at 14:00 PM, will hold its next meeting today, in which a number of procedural issues are expected to be reviewed and the agenda for the next plenary session to be determined.
At the beginning of the meeting, the members of the Presidency will review and approve the minutes from the previous meeting.
As part of the main agenda item, the proposal for the plenary session agenda will be discussed, which is expected to include several important legislative and political items.
The plenary session, according to the proposal, will begin with the approval of the minutes from the previous session, to continue with statements off the agenda and parliamentary questions.
Next, MPs are expected to review and vote on several draft laws for the ratification of international loan agreements, including those with the International Development Association, the French Development Agency and KfW, related to financial sector development, energy, climate, and trade and transport facilitation in the Western Balkans.
Also on the agenda is the voting on a proposed resolution regarding the increase in oil prices, the lack of Government intervention and its impact on the cost of living and economic stability in the country.
The Assembly will also consider the election of a non-prosecutor member to the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, as well as a draft resolution on the protection of the historical truth of the 1998–1999 war in Kosovo.
Finally, the proposal of the AAK Parliamentary Group for the appointment of MP Duda Balje to parliamentary committees is also expected to be addressed.
