Two Serbian Post employees arrested and later released in northern Kosovo

Kosovo Police have arrested two people in North Mitrovica, on suspicion that, as employees of the Serbian Post, they have "illegally" distributed postal items.

The news was confirmed by Petrit Fejza, head of the Regional Operations in North Mitrovica.

He announced that the Economic Crimes Unit was involved in the case, and after being interviewed, the same were released through regular procedure.

"It is true that we have received information that two people are distributing various documents, court decisions, and they are from the state of Serbia, the police have stopped them, they have found documentation near them, it remains that Economic Crimes are being investigated. The same people have been released through regular procedure", confirmed Fejza.

The institutions of the Republic of Kosovo consider the Post of Serbia, as well as other parallel institutions operating in our country and financed by the Serbian state, to be illegal. Their closure has begun in early 2024.
