Ulutaş hosted the Greek general in a meeting, KFOR appreciates Greece's contribution and reaffirms security in Kosovo
The Commander of the KFOR-led mission, Major General Özkan Ulutaş, received in an official meeting in Pristina Major General Alexandros Koufopoulos, commander of the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Division of the Greek Armed Forces.
The meeting took place at KFOR headquarters in Camp Film City and focused on the current security situation in the region. During the discussions, Major General Ulutaş reaffirmed KFOR's commitment to guaranteeing a safe and secure environment for all citizens in Kosovo, acting in an impartial and transparent manner.
On this occasion, he expressed his deep gratitude for Greece's continuous and valuable contribution to the KFOR mission over the years.
"The KFOR mission continues to implement its mandate, based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999, with the aim of ensuring a peaceful environment and guaranteeing freedom of movement for all citizens in Kosovo.
