UAE demands compensation from Iran and clarification from US on ceasefire

The United Arab Emirates said today that Iran must pay reparations for damage caused by its attacks on Gulf countries.

At the same time, they sought clarification from the United States regarding the terms of the ceasefire agreement.

According to a statement from the UAE Foreign Ministry, the country seeks further clarification on the provisions of the agreement, to guarantee Iran's full commitment to the immediate cessation of all hostile actions in the region, as well as the full and unconditional opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Regarding Iranian attacks on Gulf states, the statement emphasizes the need for a firm stance, in order to ensure that Iran will be held accountable for the damage caused and will be forced to pay compensation. /Panorama
