Një urë për këmbësore sapo e ndërtuar është shembur duke lënë të vdekur 10 persona në Universitetin Ndërkombëtar të Floridës të enjten.

Makinat po prisnin ndezjen e dritës së gjelbërt kur ura 950 tonësh, e cila u ndërtua të shtunën e kaluar u rrënua duke shkaktuar kaos dhe dëme vdekjeprurëse tek njerëzit.

Një motoçiklist e kapi pamjen disa momente para shembjes, pasi ura u zhduk u vërejt një pluhur i madh, raporton “DailyMail”, transmeton Periskopi.

Senatori i Shteteve të Bashkuara Bill Nelson për “TV Miami” tha se mes 6 dhe 10 personave kanë vdekur si pasojë e aksidentit, ndërkohë shefi i zjarrfikësve Dave Doëney e konfirmoj se katër persona u gjetën në rrënoja.

Shkaku i shembjes së urës mbetet akoma i paqartë.

Dy nga punëtorët ishin pranë urës për të testuar infrastrukturën e saj, por autoritetet zyrtare nuk e kanë konfirmuar nëse konsiderohen si të vdekur.

Ura ishte 53 metra e gjatë dhe akoma nuk ishte hapur për qarkullim.
